Armored Closet was founded by David Magiera, an experienced homebuilder who understands that a home should be more than beautiful — it should be safe. David Magiera created safe rooms built directly into homes instead of backyards. Today, Armored Closet and Titan Vault Systems provide custom safe rooms and nationwide installation to help protect families when seconds matter.
About Armored Closet
Several years ago, after 17 tornadoes struck the surrounding area, including one just blocks from our home, David’s wife Sheila asked him to look into adding a tornado shelter inside their home. After researching the available options, David was not satisfied with shelters that were placed in garages, buried in yards, or located outside where access during a storm could be dangerous.
So he designed a better solution — a tornado shelter engineered directly into a closet inside the home. A safe room that was close, accessible, discreet, and strong. That idea became the first Armored Closet Safe Room.
Today, Armored Closet safe rooms are used for tornado protection, home invasion protection, secure storage, and peace of mind — all located just steps away inside your home.

Titan Vault Systems
To support the growth and nationwide installation of Armored Closet safe rooms, Titan Vault Systems was established as the national installation, dealer, and expansion division.
Titan Vault Systems works with builders, contractors, installers, and regional partners across the United States to bring Armored Closet safe rooms to homeowners nationwide. Through this network, we are able to design, deliver, and install safe rooms in homes across the country.
